The Churchill
This home was the last home I built in Raleigh and I think represents the capstone of my building career in the Raleigh area. It is located on an infill lot at 3401 Churchill road. In designing this house my goal was to make it fit the neighborhood and not overwhelm the existing homes with a large suburban Mac Mansion. I was very pleased with the results and hold this up as an example of my care and concern for both the buyers and the immediate surrounding environment. Although the home has over 3000sq. ft. and contains 4 bedrooms and 3 ˝ baths it does not look large from the street. We purposely choose and English Cottage style because of the numbers of older homes in Raleigh that share that same design and the ease with which we could “age” the home with the brick selection and lush landscaping. Of course the inside is thoroughly modern and exhibits all of the features desired by today’s buyers.

I’m quite pleased that the current owners love the house. They are both native to Britain and cherish the homes character and design as it reminds them of their homeland.

The Hampsted
This home was built at 316 Tall Ships Lane in the Harbour at Summerset development in Hampsted. This all brick home calls forth Southern charm with a full front porch and a screened rear porch. With 4 bedrooms and 3 ˝ baths as well as a large playroom over the three car garage this is a great home for a growing family or a couple which needs a home office as well as room for guest. As one of my trademarks this home incorporates the latest structural wiring technology for distributed audio, entertainment and data communication. This pathway system will allow unlimited potential application for the homeowner as needs change and the demand for new features grows over time.

Durable materials of brick, granite, stone as well as a fully landscaped and irrigated yard make living here as easy, comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The Seawatch

This is an updated version of a coastal Carolina classic, the raised beach house. It is located at 145 Seawatch Way in the unique and colorful community of Seawatch at Kure Beach. Comfortable to live in and easy to maintain the home is designed for gathering and casual enjoyment.

This home purposely does not have elaborate trim work, rather the resources were directed toward the purchase of high quality and durable materials such as granite countertops, limestone floors, marble baths, hardwood floors, impact resistant windows and mahogany exterior siding and trim. Of course the kitchen is furnished with extensive cabinetry as well as top of the line appliances. I really do want the living to be easy at the beach.

When we designed this home our focus was on simplicity of design, easy maintence and ease of living. This concern was even represented in the care with which we choose the restful and cool colors that carry that theme throughout the house.
